Mike graduated from the University
of Kansas with his Juris Doctorate in 1978. He practices
in the area of litigation with an emphasis on personal injury,
family, and criminal law. He is a former editor
of the Family Law section of the Journal of the Kansas
Trial Lawyers and has written and published numerous
articles on subjects involving family law and general litigation.
His credits also include being a former Municipal Court judge,
a Judge Pro Tem in the Johnson County District Court
and President of the Board of Education for the De Soto Unified
School District. Representative types of litigation in which
he has been involved include complex medical negligence claims,
first degree murder defense, appeals to the Supreme Court
of the State of Kansas and multi-million dollar divorce litigation.
Conrad graduated from the
University of Kansas School of Law in 1983. After graduation
he was hired as an Associate at McDowell, Rice and Smith.
During his two years with the firm he practiced in a variety
of areas including consumer bankruptcy and banking law. He
left in 1985 and practiced privately until he was appointed
to the Kansas Board of Tax Appeals in 1987, where he served
for four years. After his term, Conrad returned to private
practice and represented several counties, including Sedgwick
County, before the Board. He has had several business
and real estate development ventures and is also a licensed
real estate broker. Conrad's emphasis is in business formation,
banking, bankruptcy, real estate sales and development, wills
and trusts, and estate planning.
Dan graduated from the University
of Kansas with his Juris Doctorate in 2006. His practice
encompasses both transactional and trial work, including
personal injury, family, criminal, traffic, real estate,
and wills and trusts. While in school Dan worked for the
United States Air Force JAG Corps, focusing on employment
law and military justice. He has contributed to several publications,
including a treatise on GATT law, and has earned a Certificate
in International Trade and Finance.
